Several parents with children enrolled in Early Learning Essentials graduated from United Way’s Digital Literacy Computer Course Tuesday, March 2.

It’s a course that aims to take people from having no computer skills to actually being able to use the internet and having a basic understanding of it. The course is offered in both English and Spanish, with this latest group of graduates graduating form the Spanish course.

ELE Parents who graduated from United Way’s Digital Literacy Computer Course gathered for a picture to show off their certificates of completion.

United Way and Early Learning Essentials are looking forward to partnering again to offer these courses to more parents, with classes picking up again in the fall.

The class was made possible by donations from Facebook,  Mortenson Construction. Another thank you to Google Fiber, who provided Early Learning Essentials with the funds to create the computer lab, and to United Way for hosting these classes.
