Why Work for Us?
As an Early Learning Essentials teacher and/or team member you have the opportunity to make a difference in children’s lives. This is accomplished working cooperatively with a team of two to three staff members serving approximately 15 – 17 Three and Four year old preschoolers per class.
Children in our program who experience poverty in the first years of life face challenges, and the strain poverty creates on families sometimes negatively impacts a young child’s ability to learn. As a staff member, your relationship, your love, acceptance, understanding, can create an opportunity for each child to learn and experience success. Children socialize with others, solve problems, and have other experiences which help them become self-confident. Teachers create lesson plans using research-based online curricula resources and track the children’s growth using a research based online assessment tool. With the support of an onsite coach, teachers are able to provide an educational opportunity for the children nurturing their academic and social confidence, laying a foundation for school readiness success.
