Classroom Aide
Come hang out in the classrooms! Come volunteer as a classroom aide. You’d help the teacher with assigned areas of the curriculum, meal time, arts and crafts, reading, and anything else they may be doing that day. Hours are very flexible. Here’s a list of classrooms you can help out in. Apply to volunteer in the classrooms here.
Translating
A large majority of the families we serve do not speak English. Having volunteers that can translate helps us to really make a difference for those families. Help in the classrooms, at home visits, family activities, and other events throughout the year. Fill out an application here if you would like to help!
Activity Folders
We put together little activity folders to hand out to our children and their families at the beginning of the year, and throughout the school year. This is a great activity to do with younger family members. Print out, color, cut and glue to create these fun activities. You can submit an application here to help with this project.
Eagle Scout Projects
We love helping with Eagle scout projects! We often do book drives, or you would be welcome to set up an educational activity. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any of your own ideas. For more information, or to coordinate, you can contact us at akerby@eleutah.org.
Groups
If you’re a large group looking to help with a project or an organization looking for a staff team building service project please feel free to reach out to Alyssa at akerby@eleutah.org to match you to a fun service activity!
Facility Projects and Other
There are many other opportunities such as seasonal events, repair and painting, or other unspecified opportunities. These opportunities can be found both on our Volunteer Software and are often found on our social media accounts, so follow us if you want to stay updated. You can also sign up for our newsletter which lists seasonal opportunities! If you have any suggestions of things you’d like to do to help, you are welcome to contact us with your ideas!
